This higher strength Lactic Acid peeling formulation exfoliates the skin for a brighter and more even skin tone.

Present in the formula at 10% concentration, Lactic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that exfoliates the skin. It is one of the least irritating alpha hydroxy acids. It helps the older, dull cells on the skin’s surface to slough away by dissolving the bonds that hold them together. Lactic also supports the skin’s natural moisture factor (NMF), or the way the skin keeps itself hydrated.

Lactic acid should not be used on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Please refer to additional sun protection note below.

For: Uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, dark spots, fine lines.

Skin feel: Polished and smooth.

Skin Types:

  • Normal
  • Oily
  • Combination
  • Dry

NO MORE CYSTIC ACNE

This is the holy grail!!! I started using this Lactic Acid treatment as it’s way cheaper than what I normally use. So far, so good. I bought open formula Lactic Acid, Retinoid cream, and Seaweed Toner at the same time. Using all three at the same time was too much for my skin but I’ve seen the most improvement with the lactic acid peel. I actually haven't had a single cystic pimple since starting it and my dark acne scars are fading.

Makes skin smooth and soft

Used it for more than a month and so far I love it. I’ve tried only 1 other brand in the past but this stuff is much better and it is cheaper too

Does the job

I was not expecting much since I tried similar products in the past and they either irritated my skin or did nothing at all. With this peel however, I did not experience any irritation whatsoever and my skin is visibly smoother and more radiant. Thanks Open Formula for making this product.

It works

The exfoliation is not visible to the naked eye but trust me it does get rig of dead skin cells because my make up goes on so much smoother after using this peel.

Happy Customer

Every once in a while I stumble upon hidden gems like this product. I love all things skincare and trying new products, you know keeping my skin guessing. I use different skincare for different times of the year and I found that this peel really helps me get rid of the dead skin cells and dullness during the harsh and dry winter months. Just a few drops on a cotton pad is enough for me.

Not bad

I am halfway through on my first bottle. I’ve seen some results but nothing over-the-top. It does not have any scent which is nice and does not irritate my skin. For those of you wondering, a bottle should last you for about 2-3 months if you are a regular user.

STRONG EXFOLIATION

I’ve only recently begun to struggle with acne and I thought 10% lactic acid was strong but it gives you a good exfoliation without being too harsh. Overall I’m happy with this product!! If you have very sensitive skin, consult your dermatologist before you use it.

IT WORKED ON MY ACNE

Love this Lactic Acid Peel! I use it about 3-4x a week to control my acne. It works really well. I didn’t start with the buffered, I went full force with this but lactic acid is more gentle and moisturizing so I wasn’t worried. My skin is tough and thick so it can take a lot. I’ll even use this to spot treat my breakouts and in a couple of days they are already starting to go down.

USE THIS FOR SMOOTH SKIN

This stuff is awesome! If you haven't tried it, you should. I would recommend it for all skin types because lactic acid is gentle, hydrating, and such a great exfoliant. They couldn’t of picked a better acid for an at-home peel. I’m an avid skincare user and I know my stuff so if you use this a few times a week your skin will feel smoother and look more refreshed Be sure to use it at night and if you have sensitive skin I would recommend using the hyaluronic acid moisturizer with it to calm and avoid flaking.

IT`S GOOD FOR SENSITIVE SKIN

I have more sensitive skin but I get peels at the spa once a month that are usually an AHA one so I knew this wouldn’t hurt my skin. It did tingle a lot the first time I used it but I just rinsed it away with water after a few minutes and the stinging stopped. I use it once a week in addition to my enzyme wash and after I got used to it, it was fine.
