Do you avoid controversial or harmful ingredients in your formulations?

At Open Formula, all our products are free of not just parabens, but also sulphates, mineral oil, formaldehyde, and other poo. If you have questions about any ingredient that we use, please contact us, and our lab will provide a response.

Can you tell me what products are suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women?

While each ingredient is considered safe for topical application, Open Formula products have not been tested on pregnant or breastfeeding women specifically. When pregnant or breastfeeding, it is recommended to consult your doctor.

How do I store your products?

We recommend storing all of our products in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Room temperature is fine. For best results, we recommend using all products within 3-6 months after opening.

What is the expiration date of your products?

Products are generally tested to be shelf-stable for 2-3 years. We generally suggest using any products within 9-12 months after purchase.

How do I mix products in my regimen?

Start with cleansing & toning first. For leave-on products, use the thinner, more liquid ones first. Then, apply the thicker ones. Water based products should generally be applied before oils or oil-based products.

Are your products organic?

We source high quality ingredients for our products, but they are not certified organic.

What is your product return & refund policy?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase from OpenFormula.com, you may request a refund within 30 days of purchase. Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges. All returns will be credited to the original method of payment. The refund will be issued upon processing of the returned item(s). Please include a copy of your purchase order with your shipment. We do not cover the cost of return shipping. The product you wish to return must be in the original bottle and must be 50% full.

Do you have a money-back guarantee?

Absolutely, if you are not happy with a product, just let us know. We're so certain you'll love the products that we'll refund you in full if you don't. We ask that you get in touch within 30 days of your purchase if you aren't loving your new skincare products.

Is there free shipping?

Yes, members get free U.S. shipping on all orders. Non-members get free shipping on orders over $35.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We don’t. You will get your order typically within 3-5 business days.

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to most countries worldwide. Other countries may require customs duties, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
